This position is responsible for managing and overseeing all technical operations related to media productions and events. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain all audio and visual equipment for church services and events. Oversee lighting and special effects coordination for services and events. Work closely with the worship team to ensure that the technical elements complement and enhance the message and experience of the service. Lead and manage the production team for weekly services and special events. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure that they are quickly resolved. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in media production, specifically in live production for events such as concerts, conferences, and broadcast Excellent technical skills in audio and visual equipment setup, maintenance, and operation. Strong leadership and management skills. Passion for the church and its mission. This is a part-time position with competitive pay. OFFICIAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Media Technical Director (Part-time Position)The Media Technical Director is responsible to the Associate Pastor Music/Media for the media ministries of the church. Shall work with the Associate Pastor of Music/Media to coordinate sound, video, lighting, and broadcast production for all worship services of the church. Shall be the liaison between the chairmen of the sound and broadcast committees and the Associate Pastor of Music/Media. Shall have the interpersonal skills to work with the sound and broadcast committee chairmen and the volunteers who participate in these ministries. Shall maintain the upkeep and repair of the sound, video, lighting, and broadcast equipment and be responsible for securing the equipment following services. Shall be responsible for the training of all media volunteers. Shall be available for additional services and rehearsals related to revivals, Christmas, Easter, and other services. Shall edit the morning worship service for rebroadcast and archiving on church website. Shall update the church website. Other duties as assigned by the Associate Pastor of Music/Media.
